Just completed the game the witcher and so here is my review.  First impressions was really good i enjoyed the fighting and being able to roam around the citys and do missions and the light hearted humor of some of the cutscenes and ingame videos. But soon after the novelty of the game dynamics wore off what was left was simply a shopping list of tasks to get through with very little to do outside of that. You can only attack a set amount of enemies in the game , you can not attack random people. so this makes time spent when not doing a mission completely pointless. It takes along time to find somthing to fight and when you do they can be killed really easy but just click – wait -click again -wait and click . then they are dead. The missions like a say are a shopping list of tasks , you run across the town say somthing to a person then run back and so forth , gold is pointles as as soon as you kill the last boss which a complete anti climax the game just ends and you are back at the start menu, you have complted the game its over and thats it do you want to start again NO. so the whole thing felt like a waste of time you will be clicking through the cust scenese and dialog by the end of the game. the last boss is just some guy who you kill like anyother person. By the end the fights are incredibly “sticky” your guy doesnt quite do on screen what you want and i found it quite frustrating and awkward , glitchy . not that enjoyable. there is no replay value and nothing to do outside the storie that add any value when all is said and done. the side missions are just for a little extra gold which you can make by saving gambling, if you win the bet save again if you loose the bet reload and try again. didnt find the maps that intresting as you cant jump your guy will get caught on edges and stuck behind little rocks on the ground. Would recomend this game if you would like to play for a few hours when the guy is fully upgraded with all the tallents in the later stages ,if ok just to cast some spells and do a bit of sword play. But i would not spend money on this game as i think in the long run once you have ran around the citys doing the errands and nothing else and then the game comes to an end . i think most withcer players will find the experiance a rather long winded waste of time. It takes you ages to get the main charector to a level that is fun to play and just before you get there the game is over.
