Foundation MMA Bodyweight UFC power

You will see this again and again , that in order to first start your MMA or even just body conditioning , the foundation exercises are body weight conditioning, allot of floor work, Press Ups mountain climbers squats sit ups pull-ups. Before you can beat others or master others in sport or conditioning , you have to be able to control yourself and body in all positions. Although i am a fan of gyms for checking out sexy girls ass doing a little jogging on the treadmill allot of the time at gyms you will never see people getting down on the floor and just doing bodyweight exercises. The real strength comes when you start to use your own weight as your primary target, only after fully exhausting this weight should additional weight be used. Handstand pushups and one hand chin-ups 1 leg pistol squats planche pushups ect.

Animal power and core explosive foundational strength comes from completely understanding how the body reacts to its own weight. Not being strapped in to peck deck machine. MMA needs functional strength to be able to roll, pull, punch, twist and jump.
