I have a serious problem with day to day comprehension in regular activities, even though its seemingly surprising that I've obtained a lot of information in my 22 years of life everything now seems to be rather slow when I need things to be more at a steady pace for my interpretation. * Any ideas on how I can solve my problem send a email please

If you are not following a specific routine, you get slower results, and sometimes work harder than you need to. You are doing good exercises, but should make it more into a routine in my opinion. I teach people to get six pack abs.
Try this,

- High Intense Interval Training 10 minutes 3 times per week, every other day.

- Resistance Training - 3 times per week.

- Good Diet.

It should work!

audacity is a bad way of doing this. it is seriously slow and inconvenient. last time i tried audacity it did some nutty things, its like it wrote all the files as uncompressed back to the drive first eating up gobs of space.

foobar+soundtouch dsp for batch conversion into mp3 or mp4 allows up to 200% increase in speed and encodes quite fast. on an e2200(low end cpu) it encoded mp4 files at 80x real time, so it doesn’t take long to chew through material. even faster for mp3. the only gripe is the 200% limit, i sometimes feed it through a second time with a smaller increase to yield the 250% i like on some material, it depends a lot on quality of sound and the reader. high quality podcasts easily crank to such speeds, bad ones with horrible call in quality strain you brain to decode so cannot be sped up as much.

gomplayer is free and allows 10% increment speed change on the fly for stuff you playback on the pc. including video. up to 4x, i find 2-2.5x is enough lol. one things for sure, they need to add this in more hardware/software. the ipods 25% increase is not even worth bothering with. you need quite a bit more than that. narrators seem to be reading at the lowest common denominator speed, mind numbingly slow for most adults.

more development needs to go into this. there is not enough support out there.

This made me laugh. The funniest experience of an odd, make my skin crawl voice didn't have to do with intimate proximity of anyone and it didn't creep up over a period of time....but I was in New York visiting my boyfriend at the times family. In walks his brother's girlfriend. To this day, one of the most BEAUTIFUL women I have ever seen both in real life or in magazines, film, etc. A true goddess of a girl. I was bowled over! And then she opened her mouth. Imagine Fran Drescher (sp?) times a trillion. Jersey accent that you would hear on Saturday Night live. I kid you not. The beauty was suddenly veiled by every cell in my body wanting to scream. We spent the weekend hanging out with them. She was very smart and kind....relaxing around that voice, not ridiculing her, and really listening to what she was saying was a challenge I will always remember! ha!
